“Innovation and Differentiation”
Founded in 2004 by Brevard County native brothers Mick and Perry Ellison, Feeding Frenzy Chum & Tackle LLC developed the process to manufacture a shelf stable, slow dissipation, solid fish attractant called a “chum tub”, offered in several formulas including inshore, catfish (8oz), offshore, shark, and striper (16 oz). Inshore, offshore, and land/pier/dock structure fishermen loved the product for its ability to last up to 7 hours, plus it’s ease of use, storage, and handling. Feeding Frenzy products were used to win many fishing tournaments and gain celebrity endorsements.
Mick realized that the original product was very dense and being an avid fisherman, he also knew that the price of lead weights kept going up and up due to attempts to ban its use, which was successfully done in Europe and California due to its toxicity and harm to the environment. The U.S. ceased the manufacture of lead and closed the last smelter plant in 2013. And so was born the Chum Sinker™ (Patent Pending).
The Chum Sinker™ is an all-natural, lead-free, shelf stable, slow dissipation, sinker/weight and attractant in one. It can be made any size, although are currently being made in (liquid weight) 1oz, 1 ½ oz, and 3oz sizes.
FFC+T also manufactures a stainless steel dual surf rod holder sand spike with a bait tray, a universal kayak rod holder, and a line of Hunting Attractants for Deer, Boar, and Bear.
